West Cork Distillers occasionally opens up membership to their Whiskey Cask Club, enabling individuals to purchase casks of new make malt and pot still whiskey. Buyers enter into an agreement with WCD, who in turn issue a cask certifcate of ownership to the buyer. Purchased casks must remain in bond for a period of 3 years. Casks are subject to a €24 per annum charge to cover storage and insurance costs.

Individuals looking to buy casks can post their order here. Existing cask club members can then match this order with casks that fit the criteria. If successfully matched, WCD facilitates the transaction and enters into a new agreement with the buyer. Matched casks are subject to a buyers commission. Purchased casks must remain in bond for a period of three years. Casks are subject to a €24 per annum charge to cover storage and insurance costs.

Individuals can bid on casks put up for auction by existing cask club members. Successful bids are facilitated by WCD, who draft a new agreement with the buyer. Such casks are subject to a commission on the buyers side. Purchased casks must remain in bond for a period of three years.
