West Cork Distillers may occasionally make direct buyback offers on cask club member casks. Buyers enter into an agreement with WCD, who in turn issue a cask certificate of ownership to the buyer. Purchased casks must remain in bond for a period of 3 years. Casks are subject to a €24 per annum charge to cover storage and insurance costs.

Individuals looking to buy casks can post their order here. Existing cask club members can then match this order with casks that ft the criteria. If successfully matched, WCD facilitates the transaction and enters into a new agreement with the buyer. Matched casks are subject to a buyers commission.
